I've got a tank with an electric yellow and a frontosa. I was wondering if I could get away with putting a peacock cichlid in there. Thanks.
 
No, way to small for the species you have already, let alone to add anything else. 55l is 14 gals us so you should look into nano fish. If you really want cichlids look into some of the smaller shell dwelling cichlids from lake tanganyika

Frontosa don't live well single either, they do best in groups, which require a 180 gallon minimum

Whoops! I was doing the area and did plus instead of times. It's 225L. I apologize for the confusion. Still too small?
