Hey guys,

I plan on shipping some plants tomorrow. Its a little chilly seeing how its the middle of winter. What's the best way to ship plants with what could be freezing temps in the forecast?

Thanks,

Mike

IMO, if you could wait a little it would be best. I wouldn't ship in freezing temps, but I think temps in the 40s would be doable with a heat pack or two in the box. You can get heat packs (24 hour, 48 hour, etc.) at a sporting-goods store.

I'll be shipping 4 packages

My weather forecast
Rapid City, SD 19*-46*

Location--------3 day Temp Range----------distance
Alberta, Canada 4*-20* 1260 miles
Iowa 8*-35* 572 miles
Ohio 19*-38* 1260 miles
North Carolina 22*-50* 1700 miles

I think Iowa, Ohio, and North Carolina would be fine with 60 or 72 hour heat packs. However, Canada looks pretty questionable considering the low temps and trip distance.
