Yes, that number is zero.....nada....nothing.....Woohoo!

I transfered my 30 gallon to my new 55 gallon on October 5, and today is the first day I have had 0 nitrites.

The ammonia has been stable, at 0 all along. The only thing I'm still concerned with is my tiger barbs have ick. and have had ick. I've tried keeping the tank temp up, to avoid treating them again with chems, but I don't think they're going to make it. I think the stress of 2 full tank tear downs, and new tank have finally gotten to them.

I don't have a quarantine tank to move them to. Sigh.....they were the original fish to my tank (other than Bubba, my Betta).

I have plants, just replaced the light with a 7600 K daylight bulb. The tank sits between two windows with arches on the east side of the house. It will get morning light, and when the 30 gallon tank was up and running, the plants were extremely happy!

Here's hoping!
