Would a sick fish prefer the tank lights to be kept off?

So one of my zebra danios is sick and I just put him in his own quarantine tank.

I was thinking it'd be more relaxing to him to keep the tank lights off for most of the day. I have never read anything about this, but I mean, when we are sick we prefer to lay in bed and relax and not go out in the sun and run around.

Lights off as this does a couple of things, it will allow the fish to relax and some medications such as metrozoidale is effected by light.
