Wth Things Swiming in my Filter!

Went to clean my filter and Flounder these on the bitten of it

Really can't tell from the picture. I do see a few snails. Can you describe how they were swimming (zig zag, darting, side to side, etc), how big and shape/color?

Snails r ok these were qui k swimming everywhere little things, dumped em out and cleaned it now idk what they were
