yellow labs w/o black

I have 6 labs, all about 1 inch. One has all of his black, and its obvious he is a boy. All of the others have absolutly no black. Why would this be. I've read about this alittle. Would it posibly be hybrids. Or are all of them girls and just not showing any black yet (they are pretty young)

I'd say some kind of inbred. Gender differences are very subtle, if not impossible to tell from just eye. I have 1 with fainter black, and a slightly different body. It's just he acts different then the other yellows, with a brighter shade of colour. I'll probably give him away when the tanks nearing completion
