I have had a yellow tang for 5 days in my 100 gallon tank and wanted to get a blue tang today or tomorrow. Would the yellow tang still bully the blue tang? Or would it not be a good idea to get it?

You should be OK since your just starting to add livestock. It's only been a few days.

From what I've been told you should be OK as long as you don't have 2 of the same and or 2 with same body shape in the same tank.

Don't know if you have done it yet; however I would think that the tank would not be big enough for the 2 tangs?

Right now I only have 2 ocellaris clown fish and the yellow tang.

My only problem is that two tangs added that soon together might be too much of a bioload change. If it was me I would wait a month or two and then add him. If any aggression occurs then cut the lights out for a few hours and move some of your rocks around.

Thanks for the help guys. I got a blue tang today and it is doing really well and getting along with the yellow tang.
