So I picked up a couple mollys 3 weeks ago from what I will refer to as "the good LFS" near me. I remarked at the time that they looked like they might already be pregnant, but the guy that worked there didnt think so as he felt they were probably still to young. Im no expert so I didnt press the issue and quite frankly it didnt matter to me at the time if they were or not.

As I said, its been 3 weeks now and theyve been in my QT the whole time. Now they appear, to my untrained eye, to be VERY pregnant. Ive included a pic of one of them in hopes that somebody can confirm or refute this.

The one on the left is the one I suspect is pregnant. The other one is a third molly that I picked up just last week.

She looks pregnant to me. You'd be surprised at how young of an age they can get pregnant.

They were supposed to get moved over to the main tank next weekend, but I think I'll make sure they give birth first. Im reading that the gestation period is between 4-6 weeks, so they may get another few weeks in the QT.

Thanks for the help. :flowers:
