I find the PPS Pro calculation simpler: 1 mL per 10 gallons. I do bump up the phosphate from 3g to 9g. The 0.5L solutions last over 8 months on a 20g.

Your calculations are correct Fresh,I run ei on the 20L and 40b now myself(stock solution not dry dose)..it can seem overwhelming to add so much ferts but the results speak for themselves...
Received a couple pointers from Tom Barr through fb for further guidance..

Yes Fresh, I picked 30ml just cause its easier to make sure the nutrients are diluted vs 15ml doses. Yes, its 30ml; but its only 30ml for 3 days a week.

30ml * 3 (mon,wed,fri) Macro
30ml * 3 (tues,thurs,sat) Micro

For a total of 6 doses weekly.

30ml dose keeps me on the safe side mixing the solution

If you are making stock solutions and choose less than the suggested dose, all the salts may not dissolve.
Try increasing the dose. If you have started your mix you could double the values for dose rate and stock volume.

Tanks! Yeah, it seems like a lot of ferts especially compared to PPS Pro dosing.
At one time I thought EI dosing was ONCE a week...that sounded very appealing. I would have converted if that was the case. However, PPS Pro has been working out for me (going on two years soon).

Yeah, I am believing that was the ultimate cause of my issues. That micro bottle was so dark, compared to now (very light).
 
Well, its been awhile since the last update. Been crazy busy with holidays and crunch time w/ work. So glad were in a freeze now till after the holidays.

Some updates, well I was able to ship out all my GBR babies ~28 of them. I kept 4 for myself, but 2 of the 3 bags burst during shipping... :( SO only 9 made it to their destination. I haven't done too much with the plants in the 40G, I removed the Bylaxa (I have massive bushes of it in my 36). I also trimed a lot down, the Downi is spreading like crazy, and the other plant (no idea) that TT gave me has spread very well too.

Zer0 what kind of retro stuff are you gathering? In my town, there's two throwback stores, one is a toy store and the other is a little bit of everything.
