zoa abd monty growing on same frag

I have a Monty frag with a few zoa growing beside it I was wondering if I should let the grow like that or if I should cut the monti away from the live rock peice and place it somewhere else

I would cut the zoa heads off and glue them to another rock. Seems easier than cutting the monti, and the monti seems like its already starting to curl up at edge; don't wanna mess that up.

Any guide for cutting the zoas off when I pull the rock out if the water they nearly vanish

I've not fragged zoas yet, but from what I've read, wear goggles and gloves an use a razor blade. Then just use super glue gel to the bottom to adhere them to another rock (that part i have done when pieces have come off zoa frags). They close up when exposed to air, but don't completely retract in, so you should still be able to see them.
