Goodieds are like no other livebearers and Z. Tequila is no exception. The dominate males have an orange cresent tail and tur jet black when they play chase. These guys don't eat fry if well fed and there is some cover for young. In the photo of the week old fry you can see a fully grown female Least Killie in the background. Fry are huge! I keep these at roomtemp but they do fine at 74-76 degrees.
These Goodieds are extinct in the wild due to habitat distruction and are a priority species on the C.A.R.E.S listing. These fish don't tend to be problems in community tanks as they are fixated onn each other. Several trios available with live arrival guarantee.
