Hello all, i noticed something weird at Petco and i thought I'd consult the experts.
My local petco carries both the ZooMed 501 and the new ZooMed Nano 501 and there is a difference of $10 in price with the Nano being cheaper. However, I started reading the boxes and they appear to be exactly identical, even if you open the box and look at the two devices they appear identical.
However, the Nano says it is good for 2-10 gallon tanks and the normal 501 says 10-30 gallon tanks. Both filters say 79 gph and have the exact same specs listed, so what could i be missing here? Are they truly identical or is there something deeper here? Below is a link to both. Any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks.
