I have three young ones in my tank i bought a month a go, does anyone have any info or pictures on the differences between male and females as i would like to try and get them to breed.

In adults, the males are larger, have longer fins, and a higher back.
You will just have to wait until they get puberty to be able to tell the sexes.

They are about an inch big already is that still to small to tell?

Yes

These stay small but I would say they will be 2" before you could tell.
