Hi. I am buying a tank today and some africans cichlids and silver dollars come with it. They have had them together to awhile with no problems. But i wasnt sure if its ok to mix the two?

Shouldn't be a problem. I've had both before. SDs tend to be a bit skittish but aren't easily pushed around. Africans in general are more territorial.

Ok ty :) ill just give it a try and see. Ive never had silver dollars before so wasnt real sure . But they have had them together for while now so im hoping everything will be ok . ;)

What kind of african cichlids it they're mbunas forget it

What size tank, and which species of cichlids? Silver dollars are schooling fish, and will grow to a fair size. Compatibility is generally less of an issue than having a large enough tank to house them all properly.
