frozen Beef heart vs discus bran

hi all, i just got my discus and im new to aquariums. I was thinking about getting some beef heart. I can get the frozen fresh type from my pet store or buy some beef heart pellets or discus beef heart bran. are they both equally good for discus or is the fresh beef heart better?
