I am aware that these fish are hybrids and in my lfs there is a pair that spawn alot and they care for eggs etc ... but the male is infertile eventually the eggs go white so they eat them. Isnt it a shame that the male is infertile.
I believe they actually have found a hormone that the male can be injected (?) with that allows them to be fertile. Like severum mama said, though, 1% of the males are fertile, anyway. I'm probably going to be getting a pair of them, around October. And hehe. Breeding rainbows. Reading Rainbow. >.> Sorry, nostalgia.
