Sexing my convict cichlid...

I have a convict about 1 1/2 inches but I don't know if it's a male or female

Looks like a male to me. Females already have a red belly at that size. I think the male's fins are longer like yours, also.

I agree, male, the hump on head speaks to him being male too. Mine are smaller, but pretty sure I have a m and f

ok thanks guys.... i had got him from a batch of fry my con pair had... i gave them all away but kept only one... his dad died so im planning on keeping this guy...
