they wont touch homemade food

I tried to make some homemade food last night and today my fish hate it.
Ingredients used.
Cucumber
Shrimp
Broccoli
Romain lettuce
Carrots
Garlic
And some fresh orange juice and pulp.

Any body have any ideas what to use and what not to use. And yes i ment to put peas in there put i forgot

For starters I would omit the orange juice and pulp. Like any new food it may take a few days before the fish will eat it. And it depends on the type of fish and how the food was prepared, raw, cooked.........

I have a mix of cichlids johanni,bumble bee, bushardi, ele. Yellow. Any ideas on what i should do. Sorry about the spelling.

For my africans I use:
garlic
shrimp
peas
broccoli
spirulina powder
and multi-vitamins

They go nuts for it. Try cutting out the O.J. and pulp, it might be too acidic. Maybe the carrots too, when ground up they can have a strong smell.

The garlic opens their appetite so just leave as is.
