Thinking of buying new larger tank, for American cichlids. Would this work?

I was thinking of buying a larger tank. I'm going to buy it slowly slowly, piece by piece. All custom done. And choose the best equipment for it.

The fish I want for it are (and all bought at very juvenile age):

- Green Texas Cichlid
- Salvini Cichlid
- Albino Tiger Oscar
- Pictus Catfish

Tank Specs:

- Glass: 120cm x 50cm x 50cm. 300 litres/79gallons.
- Filter: Eheim professionel 3, 600. 2075-020 canister filter. 1,250 ltr per hour.
- Heater: Eheim Jager 300 Watt heater.
- Air pump: Eheim 200 air pump.

Does it sound ok? Aqadvisor pretty much said this:

You have plenty of aquarium filtration capacity.
Your aquarium filtration capacity for above selected species is 228%.
Recommended water change schedule: 37% per week.
Your aquarium stocking level is 89%.

Which is pretty good considering its quite harsh at times.....
Just wanting opinions for now.

Thanks.

I foresee some possible posturing and/or fighting taking place. Why not pick one cichlid and fill the tank out with medium sized dither fish?

I agree with mistersprinkles. For that stock I would think the min would be a 6 foot tank or 180cm
