tiger barbs and kribs????

Can these two fish live peacfully in a 15 gal tank?

Possibly...but I wouldn't recommend it in a tank that size.

'Kribensis' (Pelvicachromis pulcher) are relatively peaceful for a cichlid but will still set up a territory and will defend it. They turn into holy terrors when they're breeding and guarding eggs or fry. I have a pair of cichlids similar to 'kribensis' in a 26 gallon tank with Tiger Barbs and they've set up an uneasy truce. The Tiger Barbs have learned to stay away from the cichlid's spot but that's easier for them to do in a 26 gallon than it is in a 15 gallon.
