Water temp.

Hello...I usely keep water temp @ 80. When did water change today bout 25% accidentally had water little warmer 82 once it was filled back up.

Seems like they like it warmer I have four African cichlids bout 1 1/2-2" want to get about 4-5 more in future.

This temp ok?

Yes that is not to worry. I keep my african tank at around 84. Water temp is naturally warm where they are from.

IMO 80 is the best, keeps them active and growing quick, but keeps them calm enough to not go crazy. variation during water changes isn't going to hurt. I typically use cooler water during changes

I do 80
