What else to feed?

So what kinds of fruits/veggies can i feed cichlids? I've been told swordtails will eat cucumber, will cichilds? I also have a rainbow shark so anything they could eat besides the regular food would be great.

very small cubed up pieces of blanched veggie, like peas and carrot and zuccini and sweetcorn, iv even fed egg yolk and chicken to my mbuna no issues xx

There's a brand of dried sea weed some people use, lettuce, I also feed them a veggie blend that's a frozen prepared the my African's love it.
