What other fish can go with jack Dempseys

I'm thinking about getting a jack Dempsey but I was wondering what other fish they can be mixed with if any

it's my finding, that a Jack Dempsey will be fine with any CA/SA cichlid big enough to take care of itself. where you'll have problems is if the tank is too small for him to have his own territory, or you have a breeding pair. if there's only one he should be ok.
I had jacks in two tanks
first tank had a couple convicts and a few Firemouths and a Severum, the other had a pair of Pike cichlids.
in the first tank, he was definitely the cranky boss man, in the other I had a pair, and the Pikes were definitely in charge, but the Jacks held their own.
Jacks are great because they can work in many situations, they'll settle in as long as they're not challenged, or they'll vie for dominance in a tank full of bullies.
