AI nano led over 29 g biocube?

I have a stock Biocube 29 g tank. I am interested in the AI Nano Led lighting system. Anyone have this? I am not really looking to remove my current hood, I can just add these lights to the ones already in system right? Want to be able to host a wider array of corals...Not really a modifier, can I somehow mount LED Nano light over opening lid in front of tank??

I would not do that. I know lots of people with Sols or Radiums over their nanos and its all open top. You probably won't have enough room to run it properly. If you are keen on keeping the stock hood, go for the LED upgrade kit.

You can cut the stock HOO and place it right in and use some black silicone to fill around the cut. Make the cut smaller so the light fits. Ice and snug. And you can use the stock splash guard.
