Creating a first reef tank

Can some coral survive a cycle because at my lfs there are some polyps attached to a piece of live rock. All of the live rock has baby snails and sea stars too. Could any of those survive a cycle?

What type of coral? Are the zoos?

Good looking tank! Saw a few fire blood shrimp? And some very nice sps and lps corals too! Still on plugs?

The coral has little stalks below them and the top is a disk with moving edges.

You have a great tank too! How people get all that coral to survive I will never know. Also, what size tank do you have?

The coral looks like zoo coral just on a stalk and uniform color.

That's what I was thinking about the corals, if take care and fluctuate the salinity you should be fine
