Hey everyone I was wondering if I need to keep my CUC. I'm about to move out so I was going to change a couple of things in my 29 gallon reef only tank.

Changing crush coral substrate to live fine sand (deep sand bed)

All I have is frags in the tank and live rock wanted to know if I can get rid of all my snails and crabs I just hate the way they bother my coral all the time.

Ok good

If i decide to put some fish in the tank will I need them then ?

They aren't needed but add an extra dimension to an aquarium. I would be sad without my cuc.

I keep a few nassarius snails so they can stir up my sand bed from time to time, but other than that if you have good flow were detritus cant settle than your ok with out a cuc.
