My new 200g tank will require a 3rd mh fixture so I was thinking of getting a 400w and making that the middle light. I could place more demanding corals/clams in the middle of the tank under the 400w ligtht. Will the tank look akward like this, I"m hoping you won't really be able to notice a difference.

I was considering switching to 20k bulbs but already have a URI ballast and some 6ft Icecap Actinic bulbs. Do you guys think I'd be better off just selling the actinic setup and going 20k? I know I'll loose some intensity in switching from 10k->20k but I also am afraid I won't get that cool actinic look from the corals if I just use 20k's?

Another member aproached me about something similar. Here is what i recomended. 2-250 10K with 1-400 watt 10K in the middle. Use the Actinics and you will have a nicely colored tank. If you like really bblue use 2-250 20K and 1-400 watt 10K.
