29 gallon clean up crew

Is this a good clean up crew so far?...
8 dwarf blue leg hermits(super small)
2 scarlet reef hermits
5 astrea snails
1 skunk cleaner shrimp
I have a HUGE diatom blume and lots of hair algae

What other life do you have in the tank? It could be too many or too little depending and how much waste is being produced.

Don't panic about diatoms they are part of the natural process of setting up a tank. They will burn out and then you might end up with another algae, this is part of the tank establishing itself.

Yeah my diatoms burnt out over a few days now I'm left with some green stuff so I bought 10 snails to do some house cleaning.

It's empty and the cycle just finished about a week ago.

What I said up top is what I have in there right now but do I need anything else yet? I really want an emerald crab but I'm worried that he might kill my baby skunk cleaner shrimp that's only about an inch or 1-1/2 inches long.(not including antennas)
