660 vho Kits

I just recieved a 660 vho icecap retro kit, all i recieved were the bulbs, ballast and end caps, no wiring ,is this normal or did my order get screwed up again. I would think all ballasts would come with wiring kits,

Ok stupid question here. I just went and bought a wiring kit and it's way to short. Can I just extend the wires and it still work right and can I just put a plug on the end of the wires for the wall outlet if so i'm going to the hardware store.

My 660 had about 5 ft of wiring on it..Though I retired both of mine and replaced with ARO..much cheaper and cooler. (The ballast) Good luck and be careful.
