I have a Emporer 400 Biowheel HOB filter. Ever since I first turned it on it makes alot of microbubbles that swirl around the tank and accumulate on the rock. Now my rock is covered in bubbles. I've since turned it off and ofcourse, my algae prob exploded.
Is there any way to keep this thing from making all these bubbles?
I wouldnt know why it would be making so many bubbles, perhaps try taking out the biowheels. is your water level very low? if so, that may be a good reason for all the bubbles.

I keep the water level about 1in above the area where the water discharges into the water....spray bars are pointed at the wheels. Could it be the filter media causing it?
Lose the bio wheels...
Also lose the floss filters...
I just fill the baskets with AC and change it every 2 weeks.
Nothing BAD will happen frol bubbles, just looks bad is all...
