My cleaner shrimp has been molting for 48 hours. Every time he has molted in the past, I have woken up in the morning will it's shell all over the floor. I have never seen it actually molt until now. Is this by any means normal? Is there anything I should do? Is something wrong?

I wouldn't worry too much he's probably just confident in his surroundings.

48 hours is an awful long time, usually takes an hour or two to lose the old shell and then they hide for about a day while the new one hardens.
It can happen that they get "stuck" while molting and it usually doesn't end well.
hope it comes out ok.
