Condy Anemone Problems

Have a condylactis anemone and almost everyday around 4 pm he shrivels up. When I wake up in the morning, he's back to normal and looks very healthy. Is this normal?

I know my phosphates are a bit high, could that be the problem?

How long has your tank been set up? What happens around 4, does lighting auto switch, auto food...so on.

Does it poop at that time?

Do you run a phosphate remover?

It is when it is pooping, but it does it everyday. Is that normal. Nothing routinely happens around 4

Mine shrinks every night and expands every day. As long as it comes back I think its ok.

Mine will do the same thing sometimes. Its been in my tank for over 5 years and has always done it.

Btw everyone says the condy won't host a clown but mine has been hosting a Maroon clown since I got it

It should be said that they are more unlikely to host a clown. But, in actuality, in the wild they host maroon clowns. They can host other clowns in captivity, just not a high chance from what I've read.
