help please........

I have 3 well now 1 fether duster that have jumped out of there tubes......
2 have died and the one left has left his tube ans lost his head dress, I know they will do this(lose there feathers) from breading and stress but why are they all leaving there tubes behind ?????? can I put them back in ???????

Thanks in advance.... :(

mine did the same thing before it died. the only thing i could think of that i did wrong was acclimate it to my tank rather quickly like 10-15 minutes. so far that's been my only casualty. knock on wood!

lets me answer my own question.... :(

Can you say arrow crab mine has been doing very well in my tank....about 6 in in width. just caught him pulling out my last feather duster that I had put in his tube and seemed to be doing fine. I will be trying to take back the crab to my LFS

Feather Dusters are very hard to keep in an aquarium long term. Also Hermit crabs will pick away at them.
