filter system

Ok I have a penguin 200 bio wheel on my new 36 gallon tank. I've also got a coralife super skimmer but the pump is extremely loud so I'm not going to use it until I can get a new pump for it.

I was looking for a different filter system and found one by drs fosters and Smith. Says its a power filter and a oxy surface skimmer. Would this be better than my penguin?

I don't have the wheel for the penguin all I have is filters

I can buy the 225gph 55 gallon system for 22.49 our the 350 gph 75 gallon one for 26.19
And a 24 pack of filters for either for 10.19
Says its good for freshwater or saltwater

Don't waste your money on the filters they become nitrate factories invest the money in fixing or replacing skimmer.

In the meantime weekly PWC`s will sufice till you do get it straight.
