FYI Deal found at local Menards

I found the menards by me in northern chicago (on route 12 and 53 north) has aquarium water test kits for $7.50 on sale by the pond stuff as the season to add a pond is slowly going away up here.

The kit if for fresh and marine and does PH, Ammonia, GH (fresh), KH, and Nirite. There is like 30 test worth of these.

Compared to the other tests kits I've seen this looked pretty cheap. I compared to the other test I had recommended by a LFS and it was the same results and the same price at the ammonia test I got for same number of tests.

I don't know the make of the test offhand and I'm at work so can't check. I can add latter if someone wants to know.

Thanks for the heads-up, I bought one today. It was a Tetra kit. The same as the 4 year old set I have been using. The fresh chemicals should make for more accurate results.
