Well I can tell ya how I do it.
I put the fish and the LFS water in a bucket.
Run a piece of air line from my main tank to the bucket.
Start a syphon in the air line and then tie a small knot in the line so the water just drips in to the bucket.
I usually leave the fish in there with the water dripping for an hour.

Buy a Kangaroo bag (looks like an IV bag). You fill the bag up with tank water and use the valve to control how many drips per second.
