Is my Kole Tang defective?

He wont eat the seaweed I give him.. Ive tried everything.

Putting it on the clip...

Rubber band it to a rock...

Mix it in with his meats...

Even soaking it in this vitamin stuff that is supposed to entice the fish to eat it.

All efforts have failed in trying to get him to eat the nori I got for him. Oddly enough he will eat Spirulina Flakes, but thats it. Any ideas?

How long have you had it, sometimes it takes a week or two for the fish to adjust to their new surroundings and in that time their diet will seem irregular. HTH.

It's been about 5 weeks now since I got him. maybe 6..

I`ve had mine for several yrs and he nibbles a bit on the dried seaweed but not alot. He`s OK and as long as he`s eating spirulina he`s getting vegetable matter.

My Kole prefers to munch on the liverock for his meals.
