Seems a little excessive but how high above the tank is it?

Nothing yet wanting to know how to do this cause I have the light I have the tank and a lot of frags I don't know where to put them

Can't use a frag rack in yur main tank? I'm pretty sure it'll cook a ten gallon tank. I have a 250 about a foot above the water and I can't use a heater. My tank is 24 inches tall

I had a 150w mh about 10" over a 10g frag but it also had a 20g sump lol im sure the sump helped with temp control put the light up high and use a small fan

So I just need a big fan or something and put it like a foot above it

If its just 10g no sump ya itll prolly be warm but try it and see watch temp for couple days adjust hours of light and height
