New hermit crab

So, I got a new hermit crab today, expecting to see the usual red legged hermit crab, instead it seems it's this crab:

Is it OK to put into my tank?

I think he should be fine. I have a golfball sized one wandering around in my tank that looks just like that one. Just be prepared with extra shells or else he will kill snails or other hermits for theirs.

Yeah, I bought "mixed" hermits and got all sorts of ones I didn't knew existed. lol But as long as they arent too big and can eat a fish I don't worry.
