Peppermint Shrimp MIA

My poor little Peppermint shrimp is gone. I have a big pistol shrimp, but I don't think he ate him. I think it may be yet another mantis.

I feel bad now.. That little guy had personality. He will be missed

My big peppermint rules the tank! He will eat from my hand and chases down food when I put it in.

Mine hide all the time. Sometimes I don't see them for a week. I check the tank late at night but they hide pretty good. Every once in a while I get a glimps, so I know they are still there. Just a new place for them, I got them a couple three weeks ago and I seen them just 3 times since I put them in. I saw them tonight when feeding Mysis to the rest of the tank. They came out for a brief second to snatch some food and then disappeared again.

I wouldn't rule out the pistol. If there was any appreciable size difference the pistol will definately attack and eat other shrimp if the opportunity presented itself.

Cheers
Steve
