Hey guys

I am buying ro\di...Couple of questions..Whats a good model..I was looking at the Kent Marine Maxxima hi-s or does someone have a good suggestion on one.

ALso I want to install this ro/di in the cellar. Is there a adapter of sorts that I can hook it up right to the same place my washing machine hooks up..maybe like a y connector that connects to the faucet and then one line to the wash machine and the other to the ro/di and have it outputing to a 30g bucket?

THanks

Tony

First thing to consiter is what capacity of RO/DI filter you need. Once you determin if you want a 25/50/75 or 100 GPD unit then you can think about the number of stages. 2stage, 3stage, 4stage, etc.

For RO units you can check out a few of our sponsors at
www.aquariumwatersupply.com
www.captivereefs.com
or you could look on ebay for some bargins.

Sure you can use a 3/4" female to 1/4" male compression fitting adaptor. This is what i use for my RO/DI hookup. You should make sure your fitting has a good washer with it and you should get some teflon plumbing tape to seal up the threads.
