Sally Light Foob Crab

My Sally Light foot died 2day , i bought him about a month ago , do they need a specific food ? i have 2 damsels , sleeper gold head goby , small tomato clown , blue head wrasse and a coral banded shrimp . what or who could have killed him?

How mature is your tank? Do you have liverock? What are your water parameters?

My tank is 7months old i have 8 pieces of live rock i checked my water and it was fine

Well I'm pretty sure they're scavangers, it would seem (depending how big the rocks are) that would be good enough.

blue head wrasse may have eaten him, was he torn up or was it just a shell? in other words how was the body when u found it

His Body was all there , he looked stiff , when i saw him the coral banded shrimp was holding him

if he was fully intact i would assume it was stress related. Probably coudnt deal with a change in the tank due to temp, nitrite nitrate ammonia or salinity
