I waited, if I hadn't looked at the full size image, I would have had no idea what it was. It looks like a species of non-photosynthetic mushroom commonly found on Florida Aquacultured LR. Pseudocorynactis cribbeorum

Well, if you put the scientific name in google, it comes back with one hit, to a post on this site, LOL. I have no links on it, maybe Teri has something
There isn't much info. out there on these. I do know that they are not photosynthetic, and will eat meaty foods - don't typically spread to pest proportions.
