So are Remoras really the best HOB Skimmer?

I want to upgrade my 37 gal with a better skimmer, and I have been looking at the red sea prizm and the Aqua C Remora.

I have been told bot hare the best......any opinions?

I think I am leaning towards the Remora....and what pump is better for this skimmer, the rio 800 or maxijet 1200?

Also, what is the difference between the remora and remora pro?

My vote is the MJ1200.

I have one with the mj1200. The Pro is just a larger skimmer.

I would vote for the Remora as well with the MJ1200. Thats what I have and I love it!

Well, I just bought one from Marin Depot whilst on business in the US. I will be taking it back with me to the UK to try it in a couple of weeks time. I also bought the MJ1200 model. Will let you know how it goes.

I bought the MJ1200 so that when I am back in the UK I can buy a UK voltage MJ1200 at 240V.
