Several factors will affect the performance of your
RO/
DI unit including water temp and pressure. Anyway, here is how the flow should go...sediment>carbon>
RO membrane>
DI. Make sure you don't have the waste line from the
RO going into the
DI chamber. If you have low water pressure, you may need to add a booster pump. Boosting the pressure will make the
RO membrane more efficient. Failing that, adding a second
DI chamber is an option. You should really be getting a
TDS of 0 out of the
DI. For example, on my unit, and I'm on well water, here are the typical readings: Tap=270-300
RO=12-15
DI=0-1
