55G stocking package

Picked up a 55G at Petco during the sale and I've been debating what to do with it since. I like the idea of doing a Rainbowfish tank. While looking at some options, I came across this package from oddballfish.com.

This is a starter package for a 40 to 50 gallon aquarium with a mature filter and ready to receive fish. Ships in 2 boxes.

4 - Gold German Ram - Regular (1 to 1.5 inches)
3 - Red Gold Honey Gourami - Regular (1 to 1.5 inches)
3 - Boesemani Rainbow - Medium (2 to 2.5 inches)
3 - Turquoise Rainbow - Medium (2 to 2.5 inches)
5 - Celebes Rainbow - Large (2 to 2.5 inches)
4 - Blue German Ram - Regular (1 to 1.5 inches)
4 - Dwarf Neon Rainbow - Medium (2 to 2.5 inches)

I love the idea of this combo, but from everything I've been reading, it would not be a good choice. Way too many rams and not enough of each rainbow. Looking for opinions on it. Thanks.

all those rams would rip each other apart, they need to pair off and i would personally have only 1 pair. gouramis are fine, gold are smallest ones but from what i read have bad genetics and don't live long.
