Assasins!

Looking in the tank this morning I noticed a tiny assassin snail! Ahh 2 of my 4 are now proud parents! So cute!!

Does anyone have any info on assassins, I didn't even know they could have babies as easy as that! Will I end up with a tank full of them at some point?

I wouldn't worry too much, I started off with 2 over a year ago and now have about 12, they seem to breed often but don't have huge amounts of babies like some other snails, and they look cool lol

Wow 10 in a year! I'll have to start buying new plants fully stocked with annoying snails for them to munch on! They have done a good job in my tank currently I'm now worried the baby will have to be a vegetarian!

Its ok they will eat any left over food. Mine were from my former snail ridden tank, now they are in a new snail free tank and still seem to be thriving. Tbh I never found them much use as snail eaters lol

If you get too many you could always sell them.
