Birthday gift

My mom has offered to buy me a canister filter for my birthday on Monday. I have a 55 gallon cichild tank. It is very cloudy from bacteria so I would like something with a uv sterilizer. I would also like to keep the cost low. Max price of $115. I've seen tgings like this on eBay but am uncertain of the quality.

+ 1 on the Eheim. I have 4 of them and wouldnt trade them for the world.
Check Amazon......the 2217 is right around the budget you mentioned and shipping usually free with those.
Honestly, with a good canister like that, and a little extra fiber floss, maybe a little purigen, you shouldnt need a UV sterilizer to get crystal clear water in your 55.
