clam!!

Afternoon peeps,i know irs daft but can anyone explain what a very small young clam looks like as I think ones turned up in my tank.its only 3mm long but oval in shape and flat and it doesnt look like any snail ive seen before. Cheers

Sorry guys its wondered off,ill try if it turns up again. Flat,oval shaped,looked like hardening around its edge but not shell shaped like a snail. Ill put it down to aliens if it doent return!!

If it wandered off my guess would be a freshwater limpet.

So where could that have come from then? Good or bad?

They usually hitchhike on plants. Most people don't like seeing them but I don't think they eat on plants (but not 100% sure about it).
