Ok, it's my 70 gallon, about a month into it now, have about 15 fish in it, etc etc.

The last three days the water in my tank, although clear from a distance, has that "white cloud" look when viewed closely near the lights. You can see it churning around near the filter output, for example.

Water changes seem to help it temporarily. Fish don't seem to care. Just wondering if it's something to get concerned about.

pH is 8.15.
Ammonia is 0.
Nitrites is 0.
Nitrates is 0.

Filtration by Fluval 404, never been opened since started. I do have constant aeration in the tank as well.

I've done a Search around here and while several answers have been given, none seems to be definitive in my case since my ammonia is zero and that seems to usually be the culprit. Algae bloom perhaps, but would that be white?

It is a bloom of bacteria. It should be harmless and relatively common in newer tanks.

Some people have suggested diatom filters, other have it clear up on its own.
